December 1, 2020 SUAI took part in the 3rd e-Stars Summit, organized by HSE and Coursera global education program.
e-Stars 2020 Summit brought together education experts and university leaders to discuss digital economics issues in international education. SUAI’s Rector Yulia Antokhina and Vice-Rector for International Affairs
Konstantin Losev joined the debates on challenges for universities during the pandemic. Among the topics are:
- Combination of profound and fundamental education facing the tendency of shorter formats of teaching sessions;
- Efficient managing schemes for digital transformation;
- Global regional and local changes in educational system under new digital technologies;
- Key fields to concentrate on for a successful university.
A round table on new vectors of education by Zoya Zaitseva was a headliner of the summit, talking about current criteria for good positions in QS World University Rankings. Year 2020 has modified some of the traditional approaches to evaluation of education, with growing importance of distant training and online educational programs in English.
