Igor A. Pavlov Colonel, Candidate of Military Science, assistant professor The faculty of military training was established at SUAI in autumn 2001. Its aim was improve and develop the system of training the reserve officers from the students of all faculties and specialties for the development of scientific, research and educational activity in the field of conversation programs and technologies. The military chair of the faculty trains the students of SUAI who are worthy for military service by their physical health, conform to the requirement set up by the Federal law "On military obligation and military service" and signed contracts with the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation. the contract stipulates training in the program for receiving the military rank of an officer in the procedure stipulated by this law. The faculty trains engineers at specialty 201600 "Radioelectronic systems" carrying out together with the leading medical higher education institutes of the city the program of getting the double higher education in the field of biomedical electronic computerized devices and systems.
