It substantially increases professional capacities after the graduation of the institute, allows claiming to more prestigious and highly paid vacant places, increases competitive ability at the labor market. Our faculty allows the students of SUA and not only SUAI to solve not a simple task of parallel obtaining of two qualifications. The faculty has courses to raise the level of skills in all directions of training specialists at our university. The students of technical specialties are offered the programs raising the level of skills in designing, production and operation of devices and systems of automatic fire protection and security alarm. The faculty gives a possibility to get the right to carry out professional activity in a new or adjacent for basic specialty (in the first higher education) sphere, including "Management of organization", "Quality Management", "Personnel Management". The students of economic, legal and managerial specialties are offered to be trained on the program "Sociology" (600 hours). Graduates of the program receive state certificate on professional retraining, right to carry out business activity in a new sphere. The students of junior courses who have difficulties in studying such subjects as higher mathematics, informatics, foreign languages can attend additional lessons. The faculty has all facilities for acquiring additional skills and experience in many direction: foreign languages, computer technologies, including multimedia technologies - working in Internet, collective work and leadership of a team and others. Training at the faculty (chargeable) is organized as the groups are ready. Curriculum is conformed to the main curriculum of the students, lessons, as a rule, are at evening time and on days off, When training is completed, the state certificates on increasing of professional skills or professional retraining are given to the graduates. The leading teachers of the university, prominent specialists of Saint Petersburg enterprises who are widely acknowledged in respective areas work a faculty.
