As part of the Future Skills University project, on June 29-30, 2022 in the Boiling Point - Moscow a project session "Forming of programs for the development of skills of the future in universities" was held.
The tasks solved during the session are the formation of complex roadmaps for the development of skills of the future in universities, taking into account the existing experience and the needs of universities in training in promising professions and the development of FutureSkills competencies, improving the quality of educational programs being implemented through the exchange of experience between participants, developing approaches to the implementation of practice-oriented tools skills of the future training in universities.
All coordinators of "the FutureSkills University" project and representatives of higher education organizations responsible for practice-oriented training were invited to participate. More than 80 participants registered for the session.
The rector of SUAI, Yulia Anatolyevna Antokhina, delivered a welcoming speech and a report on the topic: "Integrating the skills of the future into higher education: challenges, insights, prospects."
The rector briefly spoke about how this project started, what challenges and barriers faced at the first stage of its implementation, what lessons were learned and why the introduction of future skills is important for universities.
As an example of the implementation of the Furuteskills competency in higher education programs, Yulia Anatolyevna cited the development and implementation of an educational module on the "Digital Metrology" competency, talking about the features of this competency, interaction with an industrial partner and a methodological support package including a serious electronic course developed by SUAI FTTI experts.
