SUAI delegation visited Tomsk State University

On October 7th, the SUAI delegation continued visiting the universities of Tomsk. Rector Yulia A. Antokhina, Director of the Center for the Coordination of Scientific Research Alexei Rabin and Director of the Engineering School Sergey Solyony visited Tomsk State University (TSU), the first university in the Asian part of Russia.

SUAI representatives visited the scientific library of TSU, including Museum of Rare Books, Botanical Garden of the University, Museum of the TSU History, Museum of Archeology and Ethnography. Afterwards a round table was held on the issues of interaction between TSU and SUAI.

Colleagues from Tomsk, led by Rector Eduard Galazhinsky, spoke about the main activities of the university development program and presented reports on the methodology, methods and technologies of informatization of education, the development of quantum technologies, applied mathematics, mechanics and computer science at TSU.

Rector Yulia A. Antokhina spoke about the key features of the SUAI development and the arrangement of academic activities, while Alexei Rabin and Sergey Solyony informed about the areas of scientific research, laboratories of Engineering School and interaction with partners.

The meeting resulted in agreements reached on the development of joint academic programs and joint fundamental and applied research, as well as experimental development.
