SUAI strengthens relations with Shanghai Polytechnic University
On March 21, negotiations were held online between the SUAI and the Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU). The meeting was attended by the rector of the SUAI Yulia Antokhina and the rector of the SSPU Xie Huaqing.

Cooperation between the SUAI and the SSPU began in September 2014. Since 2016, Yulia Antokhina has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the SSPU and takes an active part in its work. For a number of years, the SSPU has been holding the Global Partnership Week, and since 2016, the SUAI has been an active participant in this event. Delegations of the SUAI repeatedly visited the Global Partnership Week of SSPU, making presentations about the university, getting acquainted with the work of subdivisions, laboratories and research centers of SSPU. The delegations of the SPU, in turn, also visited the university to get acquainted with the educational and scientific programs of the SUAI. SUAI students participated in summer schools organized by the SPU, and the staff gave lectures to SPU students.

- Our meeting today is very symbolic, because the two leaders of our countries are holding a working meeting in Moscow today. It is a great honor for me to be a member of the Supervisory Board of Shanghai Polytechnic University since 2017. Each meeting of the Supervisory Board, even online, has always been held at a high level. We are ready to work together, I especially support the initiative in terms of joint educational programs in the field of postgraduate studies, - said Yulia Antokhina, Rector of the SUAI.

During the meeting, the rectors of both universities thanked each other for many years of cooperation, support during the pandemic, and outlined the main priorities for further development of interaction, including the organization of short-term and long-term exchanges, summer schools, as well as joint scientific research and cooperation at the postgraduate and graduate levels. The Chinese partners expressed their hope that staff and students of the two universities will soon be able to take part in joint events in person.

In conclusion, an updated memorandum of cooperation was signed.
